چکیده

The currently developing space-based gamma-ray telescope GAMMA-400 will measure the and electron + positron fluxes using main top-down aperture in energy range from ? 20 MeV to several TeV a highly elliptic orbit (without shading by Earth outside radiation belts) continuously for long time. instrument provide fundamentally new data on discrete sources, bursts (GRBs), sources propagation of Galactic cosmic rays signatures dark matter due its unique angular resolutions wide range. consists anticoincidence system (AC), converter-tracker (C), time-of-flight (S1 S2), position-sensitive electromagnetic calorimeters (CC1 CC2), scintillation detectors (S3 S4) located above behind CC2 calorimeter lateral (LD) around calorimeter. In this paper, capabilities GRBs directions are analyzed Monte-Carlo simulations. analysis is based off-line second-level trigger construction signals S3, CC2, S4 LD detectors. For checking numerical algorithm GBM LAT instruments Fermi experiment used, namely, three bursts: GRB 080916C, 090902B, 090926A one short burst 090510A. obtained results allow us conclude that reliably spectra bright 10 100 with on-axis effective area about 0.13 m2 each four sides total field view 6 sr.

Gamma Ray Bursts and the Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope : Notes to the La Plata Lectures

Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are a mixed class of sources consisting of, at least, the long duration and short-hard subclasses, the Xray flashes, and the low-luminosity GRBs. In all cases, the release of enormous amounts of energy on a short timescale makes an energetic, relativistic or mildly relativistic fireball that expands until it reaches a coasting Lorentz factor determined by the amount of b...

Integral Capabilities for Faint Gamma-ray Bursts

We discuss the INTEGRAL capabilities to detect a high redshift population of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). First a simple comparison between other past or planned experiments (BATSE, SAX, HETE-2, Rømer, Swift) and INTEGRAL instrumentation (IBIS, JEM-X) is shown. After this first view we will be focused on comparing the capabilities of the two most sensitive missions (INTEGRAL/IBIS and Swift) of dete...

Remnants from Gamma-Ray Bursts

We model the intermediate time evolution of a “jetted” gamma-ray burst by two blobs of matter colliding with the interstellar medium. We follow the hydrodynamical evolution of this system numerically and calculate the bremsstrahlung and synchrotron images of the remnant. We find that for a burst energy of 10 erg the remnant becomes spherical after ∼ 5000 years when it collects ∼ 50M⊙ of interst...

Gamma-ray bursts from X-ray binaries

A weakly magnetized (∼ 107G) neutron star, slowly spun up by accretion in an X-ray binary, crosses the instability boundary for r-mode instability at P=1–2 msec. The amplitude of the oscillation, which initially increases only at the spinup time scale, is secularly unstable due to the negative temperature dependence of the viscosity in neutron star matter, and diverges after a few hundred years...
